The journey of how Steve Meyer became an animator.

Born in a small fishing village in the central part of Missouri, Steve had a pretty normal childhood, playing with GI Joes, kicking the soccer ball, and fishing. An afternoon that changed his life forever occurred in late august 1985 when young Steve was out on a boat. He caught the biggest catfish he had ever seen. As he reeled it in to the boat, he was stung in the eye by one of its 10 foot long tentacle-wiskers. In great pain, Steve was forced to let the, obviously radioactive, catfish go free.

Days later he noticed changes and that he had acquired great powers much like the incredible hulk. He found he could swim under water, holding his breath for hours. He could also... uh.. fly! Yeah!.. He had the power of flight! It was awesome!! But the most important power that Steve discovered was that he could morph his face and body into an identical twin of the great Patrick Swayze.

This power took Steve across the nation to California where he worked as Swayze's stunt double on such hit films as RoadHouse and Dirty Dancing. As the years passed, Steve grew tired of the glamor and fame. He wanted out, but had to prove to his agent that he had lost the power to morph into Swayze. So he staged an accident. This accident is known today as Hurricane Andrew. The rest is history.

Oh... also, after that Steve read a book about animation, loved it, and taught himself how to do it. And now.... the rest is history!
